Responsibilities
- Brew Excellence: Prepare and serve high-quality espresso beverages and food items according to strict recipes and presentation standards.
- Customer Connection: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and maintaining a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintenance: Clean and sanitize all equipment, work areas, and seating areas to ensure a safe and inviting environment.
- Inventory: Monitor stock levels, restock supplies, and assist in inventory management to minimize waste.
- Operations: Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently, handling transactions and gift cards.
- Cleaning: Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned, including grinding beans, cleaning steam wands, and washing glassware.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of professional barista experience preferred, though we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art techniques.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive, professional demeanor.
- Physical: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
