Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages following standardized recipes and quality standards
- Master espresso machine operation, milk steaming, and latte art techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service with product knowledge and warm interactions
- Maintain clean and organized workspace including espresso bar and customer areas
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of coffee supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory
- Reliable transportation to Chula Vista location
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn new techniques
- Food Handler's Certificate (will be provided during training if needed)
