Our training curriculum spans 4 weeks and covers coffee bean origins, brewing techniques, customer service excellence, and POS systems. Upon completion, you’ll join our dynamic team serving locals and tourists in our historic French Quarter location. We value creativity and teamwork, offering opportunities for advancement to shift lead or specialty coffee roles.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve premium coffee beverages including espresso, lattes, and seasonal specialties
- Provide exceptional customer service with warm, personalized interactions
- Maintain clean, organized workspace and equipment according to health standards
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using our POS system
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of coffee and supplies
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations
- Participate in ongoing coffee tastings and product knowledge sessions
Qualifications
- No prior barista experience required – training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation to French Quarter location
