Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffee beverages including espresso, lattes, and seasonal drinks with precision
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service through personalized interactions and order accuracy
- Manage cash transactions and POS system operations efficiently
- Uphold strict sanitation standards for workspace, equipment, and ingredients
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure seamless service
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of coffee supplies
Qualifications
- Previous barista or customer service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in busy environments
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and inventory
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn brewing techniques
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
