Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and specialty beverages according to recipes and quality standards
- Provide warm, personalized customer service while taking orders and handling payments
- Maintain a pristine workspace including espresso machine calibration and inventory management
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure seamless operations
- Develop seasonal menu items and participate in coffee tastings
- Train new hires on beverage techniques and store protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience with espresso proficiency
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Availability to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Passion for sustainability and ethical sourcing practices
