Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and specialty coffees.
- Maintain a pristine work area, ensuring all espresso machines and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to health regulations.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly service to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions and processing payments.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies to ensure product availability.
- Clean and reset dining and service areas promptly after each shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in coffee making, barista work, or the food and beverage industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Attention to detail when preparing drinks and handling cash.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Reliable transportation to work.
