Responsibilities
- Brew Excellence: Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, pour-overs, and teas, following strict recipes and quality standards.
- Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide exceptional service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Operational Support: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace, including the service counter, dining area, and restrooms throughout the shift.
- Equipment Care: Operate espresso machines, blenders, and point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and perform basic machine maintenance.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, restocking supplies, and performing daily opening and closing duties.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and support managers to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Character: A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for coffee and customer service.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Skills: Basic math skills for cash handling and a keen attention to detail.
