About the Role
As a Barista, you are the heart of our coffee house. You will be responsible for crafting exceptional drinks and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, pour-overs, and cold brews, following strict recipes and quality standards.
- Greet customers warmly as they enter, take accurate orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain a pristine workspace, including the espresso machine, counter area, and dining spaces, adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently to process transactions and manage inventory levels for milk, syrups, and pastries.
- Clean and sanitize equipment daily to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
- Engage with customers to build rapport and foster a welcoming community atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required; we provide training for enthusiastic learners.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machines, and milk steaming techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
