Responsibilities
- Brew Excellence: Prepare and serve high-quality espresso drinks and pastries according to our strict recipes and standards.
- Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and provide friendly, knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Operational Support: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, including wiping down counters, restocking supplies, and sanitizing equipment.
- Point of Sale (POS): Efficiently operate the cash register and POS system, handling cash transactions and processing digital payments accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless service flow during peak hours.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and notifying management of stock shortages or needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Skill Set: Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machines, and latte art techniques is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
