Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks and brewed coffee.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the espresso machine and seating areas.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions and handle payments.
- Restock supplies, such as cups, milk, and pastries, to ensure readiness for the shift.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and equipment according to health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Passion for coffee and a desire to learn brewing techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
