Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide recommendations with a smile.
- Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare espresso drinks, cold brews, and pastries following strict quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sanitize espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment daily to ensure food safety compliance.
- Point of Sale (POS): Operate the POS system efficiently, handle cash and card transactions, and manage gift cards.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and supplies; restock shelves as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Assist in training new hires and support fellow team members during peak rush hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a coffee shop or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills: Knowledge of espresso brewing techniques, latte art, and food safety regulations.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
