Responsibilities
- Brew Excellence: Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and cold brew, according to strict quality standards.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly, knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintenance: Keep the coffee bar, seating area, and restrooms clean and organized at all times to maintain a pristine environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies; assist in restocking and inventory checks as needed.
- Equipment Care: Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Team Collaboration: Assist in training new baristas and collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso machines, and Latte Art is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
