Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and specialty coffees.
- Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee brewing equipment and dining areas.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Upsell products and promote current specials and loyalty programs to increase sales.
- Ensure food safety standards and health regulations are strictly followed at all times.
- Assist in inventory management and restock supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong passion for coffee and the ability to learn brewing techniques quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
