Responsibilities
- Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages, teas, and pastries according to strict quality standards.
- Customer Service: Greet every guest with a smile, take orders accurately, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace, including equipment and serving areas.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to minimize downtime.
- Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning duties and restock supplies to ensure the store is always ready for business.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior barista or food service experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Passion: Genuine love for coffee and a desire to learn brewing techniques.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, mornings, and holidays.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are a must.
