Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies, following strict recipes and quality standards.
- Operate espresso machines, blenders, and other brewing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting coffee shop environment, including sanitizing counters, seating areas, and restrooms.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with precision using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and cleaning duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in customer service is preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
