Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, tea, and specialty coffees, following standard recipes and quality control measures.
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service, answering questions about our menu and making recommendations.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, processing transactions and handling cash with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, including coffee brewing equipment, dining surfaces, and restrooms.
- Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies to ensure smooth daily operations and minimize downtime.
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces, utensils, and equipment according to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash balancing and equipment maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required; we are happy to train the right candidates.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing, and positive demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, mornings, and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
