Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffee drinks using espresso machines and manual brewing methods
- Operate and maintain high-end coffee equipment (La Marzocco, Mahlkönig)
- Deliver exceptional customer service with product knowledge
- Manage inventory and ensure cleanliness of workstations
- Train new baristas on equipment protocols
- Develop seasonal drink menus
- Collaborate with pastry chefs on beverage-food pairings
Qualifications
- 1+ years professional barista experience
- Expertise in espresso extraction and milk texturing
- Knowledge of specialty coffee origins and brewing methods
- Ability to operate commercial espresso machines and grinders
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Food Handler Certification preferred
