Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using provided high-end equipment
- Operate POS systems efficiently and process customer payments
- Maintain cleanliness of coffee stations, equipment, and customer areas
- Train new staff on brewing techniques and equipment operation
- Develop seasonal drink specials and menu innovations
- Source and recommend premium coffee beans and ingredients
- Engage customers with product knowledge and exceptional service
Qualifications
- 1+ years professional barista experience or equivalent training
- Expertise in espresso brewing and milk texturing techniques
- Ability to operate commercial espresso machines and grinders
- Strong customer service orientation with conflict resolution skills
- Basic knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Food Handler certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
