Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, tea, and cold brews, following standard recipes and quality control measures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting cafe environment, including sanitizing workstations, restocking supplies, and sweeping the floor.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently to process customer orders and handle payments accurately.
- Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Assist in training new hires and ensuring adherence to company policies and health safety standards.
- Clean and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring optimal performance for brewing.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required; passion for coffee is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
