Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve premium coffee beverages including espresso, lattes, and seasonal specialties
- Operate and maintain professional-grade espresso machines and brewing equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service through personalized recommendations and warm hospitality
- Manage inventory, ordering, and quality control of coffee beans and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all workstations and customer areas
- Collaborate with team members to create efficient workflows during peak hours
- Participate in product training and coffee education workshops
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience with espresso proficiency
- Knowledge of specialty coffee brewing techniques and flavor profiles
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for customer engagement
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive attitude with dedication to quality and teamwork
