Responsibilities
- Craft Excellence: Expertly prepare a variety of espresso drinks, cold brews, and specialty beverages with precision and speed.
- Customer Connection: Provide exceptional hospitality by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and making recommendations to ensure a memorable experience.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, seating areas, and restrooms, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
- Point of Sale: Operate POS systems efficiently and accurately to process transactions and handle payments.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with baristas and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth daily operations and inventory management.
- Inventory: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and supplies to ensure we never run low during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous barista or food service experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours) and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Attitude: Enthusiastic attitude, a genuine passion for coffee culture, and a desire to learn.
- Reliability: Dependable attendance record and punctuality are essential.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
