Responsibilities
- Brew Excellence: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, pour-overs, and teas, ensuring every cup meets our high standards.
- Customer Connection: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly, knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment by following sanitation and safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies, and assist with inventory counts and ordering.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the POS system while handling cash and credit payments with integrity.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with baristas and managers to ensure smooth daily operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for enthusiastic candidates.
- Skills: Strong understanding of espresso machines, grinders, and brewing methods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, customer-centric attitude.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, mornings, and holidays.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
