We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Barista to join our Direct Hire team.
The Role: As a Barista at Meridian, you are more than just a coffee maker; you are a storyteller and an ambassador of quality. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in our roastery and cafe.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of high-quality espresso drinks, teas, and pastries to customers with speed and accuracy.
- Operate espresso machines and brewing equipment according to strict Meridian standards and safety protocols.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting workspace, including espresso machines, counters, and seating areas.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and monitoring waste.
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista (1+ years preferred) in a high-volume coffee shop or restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso extraction, and milk steaming techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse clientele.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive attitude.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
