Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso drinks, drip coffee, and specialty beverages according to company standards
- Provide exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and warm hospitality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, espresso machine, and customer areas
- Process POS transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with inventory management, restocking, and quality control of coffee beans and supplies
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure seamless service
- Participate in ongoing training to master new brewing techniques and seasonal menu items
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of barista or food service experience preferred
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean varieties, and flavor profiles
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Positive attitude and passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
