Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and speed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and making recommendations.
- Maintain a pristine and organized coffee bar, including sanitizing equipment and surfaces.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Learn and demonstrate knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including inventory counts and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a coffee shop or fast-paced food service environment preferred.
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills required for cash handling and order accuracy.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, mornings, and holidays.
- Enthusiasm for learning new brewing techniques and coffee recipes.
- Reliable and punctual with a focus on safety and cleanliness.
