Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and specialty beverages according to recipes
- Deliver exceptional customer service with product knowledge and warm hospitality
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and POS systems efficiently
- Maintain pristine workspace, equipment, and inventory management
- Collaborate with team to create welcoming atmosphere for diverse clientele
- Support café events and local community initiatives
- Adhere to food safety and operational standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience
- Expert knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and flavor profiles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Basic cash handling and POS proficiency
- Commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler’s certification (or willingness to obtain)
