Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages following precise recipes and quality standards
- Engage warmly with customers, providing personalized recommendations and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness of the bar, brewing equipment, and service areas
- Operate POS systems accurately and process cash/transactions efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during peak hours
- Support inventory management and restocking of coffee, pastries, and supplies
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of professional barista experience with espresso machine proficiency
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, bean origins, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for creating positive experiences
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Availability to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
