Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AI/ML infrastructure including GPU clusters, distributed computing systems, and edge computing solutions
- Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes for seamless deployment and management
- Optimize data pipelines and storage systems for petabyte-scale machine learning workloads
- Implement robust security frameworks for AI systems, including data privacy and model protection
- Conduct performance testing and capacity planning to ensure 99.99% system uptime
- Lead migration projects from legacy systems to next-gen AI infrastructure
- Stay current with emerging technologies like quantum computing integration and neuromorphic chips
Qualifications
- 10+ years in infrastructure architecture with 5+ years specializing in AI/ML environments
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and hybrid multi-cloud deployments
- Advanced knowledge of GPU acceleration (NVIDIA A100/H100) and high-performance computing
- Certifications in Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud security (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect)
- Experience with MLOps tools including MLflow, Kubeflow, and Airflow
- Strong background in data engineering and distributed systems design
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Published research in AI infrastructure or high-performance computing a plus
