Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 AI innovation strategy, identifying breakthrough technologies with 5+ year market impact
- Lead cross-functional workshops to map emerging trends (quantum computing, AGI, neuro-symbolic AI) to business opportunities
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and startups for technology scouting and acquisition
- Create ethical governance frameworks for responsible AI deployment in regulated industries
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Author thought leadership content positioning Nexus as a future-tech pioneer
- Mentor internal teams in future-thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in AI/ML strategy, product innovation, or technology consulting
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends with documented market impact (e.g., publications, patents)
- Expertise in emerging domains: generative AI, quantum computing, or neuromorphic systems
- Experience developing ethical AI frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published author or frequent speaker at tech conferences (NeurIPS, Web Summit, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating trend-to-product pipeline execution
