Responsibilities
- Develop adaptive ethical frameworks for autonomous systems operating in unregulated domains

- Lead cross-functional ethics audits of emergent AI behaviors in simulated environments
- Author position papers on AI rights and consciousness thresholds for regulatory bodies
- Coordinate with neuro-ethicists on brain-AI interface moral boundaries
- Mentor junior ethicists in applied moral philosophy for technical systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Applied Ethics, Philosophy of Technology, or Cognitive Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI governance with demonstrated impact on policy development
