Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for generative AI and quantum computing systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI bias mitigation protocols and fairness metrics
- Advocate for ethical AI standards before industry coalitions and regulatory bodies
- Design predictive risk models for emerging AI capabilities (e.g., AGI precursor systems)
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethics-by-design principles in development lifecycles
- Author thought leadership on AI ethics for 2026+ technology landscapes
- Mentor junior engineers on responsible AI implementation practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with AI focus
- 5+ years in AI governance, policy development, or ethics compliance
- Published research on AI ethics, algorithmic bias, or existential risk
- Experience with ISO/IEC 42001 and NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- Expertise in quantum ethics and neurotechnology privacy implications
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights, and global regulatory trends
- Proficiency in Python for ethical auditing tool development
