Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems and decision-making algorithms
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning models and datasets
- Lead stakeholder engagement with regulators, ethics boards, and community groups on AI policy development
- Design and execute risk mitigation strategies for high-stakes AI applications in healthcare, finance, and public services
- Establish continuous monitoring systems for ethical compliance in deployed AI solutions
- Author thought leadership on emerging ethical challenges in generative AI and neural networks
- Train engineering teams on responsible AI development practices and ethical deployment protocols
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, or related field with focus on AI ethics
- 5+ years of experience in AI governance, risk management, or technology ethics at enterprise level
- Deep expertise in bias mitigation, fairness metrics, and algorithmic transparency techniques
- Proven track record of developing ethical frameworks for autonomous systems or ML applications
- Strong understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, state-level laws)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex ethical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design, EIT Digital AI Ethics certification)
- Experience with interdisciplinary teams including ML engineers, legal counsel, and social scientists
