Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Roadmap: Define and articulate a comprehensive technological vision and roadmap that aligns with the company's long-term strategic goals.
- Emerging Tech Analysis: Research, evaluate, and pilot emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Edge Computing, Quantum Readiness) to determine their applicability for our ecosystem.
- Architecture Governance: Establish architectural standards and best practices to ensure system scalability, security, and interoperability.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Legacy Modernization: Oversee the strategic migration of legacy systems to modern, cloud-native frameworks to reduce technical debt.
- Innovation Labs: Spearhead internal hackathons and innovation sprints to foster a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with technology partners and vendors to ensure we are leveraging the best available solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (PhD preferred).
- Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience in software architecture, systems engineering, or technology strategy within a Fortune 500 environment.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices architecture, and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to forecast industry trends and translate them into actionable business strategies.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale digital transformations.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solution Architect, or PMP are highly valued.
