Responsibilities
- Develop predictive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 horizon, focusing on AI convergence, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for future market opportunities
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and academic research institutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Translate complex technological concepts into executive-level strategic recommendations
- Champion a culture of experimental innovation through rapid prototyping and validation cycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing forward-looking technology initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Research, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and identify non-obvious patterns
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (white papers, patents, or industry talks)
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs in Fortune 500 environments
