Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026 tech disruptions (quantum, AGI, biotech, Web3)
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technology adoption
- Produce actionable futures intelligence reports for executive decision-making
- Coordinate cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Represent company at global tech foresight forums and industry summits
- Design ethical guardrails for next-generation AI and autonomous systems
- Build scenarios for climate-tech convergence and sustainable tech adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-critical domains: quantum computing, AGI, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight qualification preferred
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., SAMI, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Publishing record in tech foresight or innovation strategy
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
