Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology innovation roadmaps for 2026 market readiness
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and space tech convergence
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technological investments with long-term business vision
- Build and mentor a high-impact team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Identify disruptive threats and opportunities through trend analysis and scenario planning
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech summits and policy forums
- Drive patent portfolios and open-source contributions for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or innovation leadership
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven track record in scaling disruptive technologies to enterprise level
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AI governance, or space tech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience building and leading multidisciplinary R&D teams
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and ethical implications of future tech
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
