Responsibilities
- Analyze converging tech trends (quantum, bio-AI, neuro-interfaces) to build 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical, climate, and technological disruption scenarios
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into enterprise strategy
- Author thought leadership publications on societal impacts of emerging technologies
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine symbiosis
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify breakthrough investment opportunities
- Represent company at global futurist forums and policy summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, technology forecasting, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of developing scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published author in futurist journals or industry whitepapers
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, cross-impact matrices)
- Experience with ethical AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
