Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and climate tech sectors
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging disruptive technologies
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on 2026 market shifts
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Author thought leadership reports for industry conferences and policy forums
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
- Mentor junior futurists in trend analysis and predictive modeling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight or technology innovation consulting
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging tech trends
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and government bodies
- Certification in Futures Studies or Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization
