Responsibilities
- Scan horizon technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions
- Deliver trend briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Compete in global innovation challenges and publish thought leadership
Qualifications
- Masters/PhD in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent field
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, nanotech)
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Published research in peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Experience with venture capital or corporate innovation labs
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills
