Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, economic, and social domains to identify 2026+ opportunities
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for enterprise resilience and innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future-oriented objectives
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with data-driven forecasts and strategic recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for cutting-edge insights
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes through quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Champion future literacy across the organization through training and thought leadership
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, Technology, or related field with 7+ years experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and futures research methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through organizational transformation
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy preferred
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
