You'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, AI ethicists, and biotech pioneers to shape our 5-year innovation roadmap. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, excels at pattern recognition across disparate industries, and can translate complex technological shifts into actionable business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Identify and analyze emerging market trends, patent landscapes, and disruptive innovations
- Design scenario-planning models for technological disruptions and geopolitical shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align executive teams on future strategic priorities
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable recommendations for R&D investment
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate frontier technology startups
- Represent company at global futurist forums and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of developing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology or business futurism
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS, SFI)
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and patent analysis platforms
