Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, socio-economic, and geopolitical domains to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market evolution
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to incubate future-focused solutions and business models
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies with commercial potential
- Author thought leadership content including whitepapers, scenario plans, and executive briefings
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Quantify future market opportunities through data-driven scenario modeling and forecasting
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning methodologies, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation domains
- Experience leading cross-cultural, multidisciplinary teams in global organizations
