Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Analyze emerging market signals and competitive intelligence to inform strategic pivots
- Partner with venture capital teams to scout and incubate disruptive startups
- Design resilience frameworks for exponential change scenarios
- Present future-state narratives to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Mentor junior futurists using proprietary foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic innovation, product development, or futures research
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFMP, Strategic Foresight)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business Innovation
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into actionable insights
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-state implementations
