Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year futures research frameworks focusing on 2026 technology and societal inflection points
- Produce high-impact scenario analyses and trend briefings for executive stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight findings into strategic priorities
- Establish early-warning systems for disruptive innovations across AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Build and maintain proprietary foresight databases and predictive models
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish thought leadership pieces
- Mentor junior researchers in futures methodology and critical analysis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years of professional futures research or strategic planning experience
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional data synthesis and visualization capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and board members
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFMP from APF) preferred
