Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 technology vision roadmap with measurable milestones and KPIs
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints exploring quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, and climate tech
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and board members quarterly
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal innovation labs and pilot programs
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology scouts across global R&D centers
- Publish annual 'State of 2026 Technologies' industry whitepaper
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3+ year market impact
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology, climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology futures (IEEE, Nature Futures, etc.)
- Experience leading global innovation teams across 3+ continents
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
