Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum applications, neuromorphic computing, AR/VR ecosystems)
- Analyze global tech policy shifts and their impact on corporate innovation strategies
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring emerging technology adoption maturity
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present future tech forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive ethics-by-design principles in all experimental technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 2025+ tech forecasting experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI governance, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-focused tech roadmaps
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation strategy
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (e.g., APF, WFS)
