Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient intake, scheduling, and registration for weekend clinic operations
- Assist medical providers with clinical documentation and electronic health record management
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations during weekend hours
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile clinical environments
- Process insurance verification and billing documentation
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and support staff for urgent patient needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or healthcare certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare administration or clinical support experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or experience with similar platforms)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in high-pressure situations
- Weekend availability with flexibility to cover rotating shifts
- Basic medical terminology knowledge and HIPAA compliance understanding
- Valid Washington State healthcare provider CPR certification
