Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
- Administer prescribed medications under RN supervision
- Respond to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Collaborate with night shift nursing team on care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient care environments
- Prepare patients for early morning medical procedures
Qualifications
- Current CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Weekend availability (Fri-Sat nights)
- Basic EKG monitoring knowledge
- Pass background check and drug screening
