Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
- Respond to patient call lights and provide timely care interventions
- Collaborate with nursing staff on patient care plans and medication administration
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile patient environment
- Safely operate medical equipment including IV pumps and monitoring devices
- Participate in shift handovers and team huddles
Qualifications
- Current CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
