Responsibilities
- Coordinate setup, execution, and breakdown of weekend events at iconic Chicago venues
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure seamless service delivery
- Train and supervise temporary event staff during weekend assignments
- Handle client communications and resolve on-site issues proactively
- Maintain inventory of event supplies and equipment
- Compile post-event reports with client feedback and performance metrics
- Adhere to all safety protocols and venue-specific requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in event coordination or hospitality
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Available Saturdays and Sundays (8am-8pm shifts)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of Chicago's event venues preferred
